Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PortaSplitTracker processes your personal data, in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and the GDPR for people residing in the EU.
1. Data controller

2. Data collected
- Email address — essential to send you the alerts and manage the subscription.
- Payment data — processed directly by Stripe; we store no card data, only a transaction reference and the amount paid.
- Language / preferences and minimal technical data (server logs).
3. Purposes and legal basis
The data is processed to provide the alert service, manage your subscription, send you the related emails, and handle billing. The legal basis is performance of the contract (your subscription) and compliance with our legal obligations (accounting).
4. Recipients and processors
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending alert and confirmation emails.
- Plausible Analytics — traffic statistics with no cookies and no personal data.
- Hosting: Laravel VPS (Laravel Holdings, Inc.), servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
Some providers may process data outside the EU/Switzerland; these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). We do not sell or rent your data.
5. Retention period
Your data is kept for the duration of the subscription, then deleted or anonymised, subject to the legal retention periods (notably accounting) applicable to invoices.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. To exercise them: support@portasplit-tracker.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, Switzerland), or with the supervisory authority of your EU country of residence.
7. Cookies and analytics
The site uses only strictly functional cookies: a session cookie to recognise you as a subscriber (magic link) and a cookie storing your display preferences. For traffic statistics, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies and collects no personal data. No advertising cookies are used; no consent is therefore required.
